We recently made our fun yearly trip to Minnesota’s Largest Candy store in Jordan Minnesota. It is always such a fun trip, but this year I think it was even more fun because we can finally visit fun destinations with out masks and COVID restrictions! One thing that I love about the candy store is they continue to make it interesting. They add new products or fun new painting each year. There is always something new to look at. Speaking of things to look at, there were so many things to look at in the store that we completely forgot to take a lot of pictures in the store! You can check out our post form last year to see pictures here.

One thing that Jake and I always pick up when we visit is Milka chocolate bars. This is one of the only places that we can find them and it is always such a treat! This candy store has literally everything! They have their store split up my country of origin and candy type. I love moving from country to country to check out all of the fun finds. If you are not much of a sweets person, there is a huge puzzle selection, chips, dips, picked products, sodas, cheese, and the list goes on. There is a unique find for everyone here.

Have you ever been to Minnesota’s Largest Candy store? If not what is your favorite treat?

Jake and I got engaged over Memorial Day weekend and we could not be happier! He proposed in Stillwater, which is one of our favorite places to visit. My beautiful cousin offered to take engagement photos just a few days after. I loved how they turned out! The candid shots are my favorite because they capture our goofy and fun side! We are planning a winter wedding in December of 2022. I cannot wait to start the planning process as event planning is one thing that I love.

I can be a bit of a particular type of person haha, so I wanted to pick my ring out with Jake. However, I told Jake that I wanted to be surprised with a proposal. I think it was really hard but he kept the day a complete surprise. In my mind the proposal was going to happen later than when it did!

Jake and I had picked out a beautiful engagement ring a few months before our engagement at Wedding Day Diamonds. Diana at the Richfield location was so helpful! We chose to do a custom design. Wedding Day offers this service for free. It was such a great experience because I was able to tell Diana what I was looking for in a ring. She showed me some examples, took down some notes and sent my vision to the designers. A week later we were able to return and see a CAD design of the ring. We requested one minor change and went back to see the design and it was perfect! Wedding Day also has an amazing warranty. They cover everything expect losing your ring completely! If you are interested in purchasing your engagement ring from Wedding Day, please message us so we can share a referral discount with you.

It’s season two of my vegetable garden and the garden is looking fantastic!

This year I’m planting tomatoes, onions, leaks, chives, cucumbers, and lettuce. I hope to have many tomatoes like I had last year. One of my favorite things about gardening is I get to watch my veggies grow- relaxing and wonderful.

The beginning

Just laid down compost and soil

Protecting my onion bulbs from the pesky squirrels

Look at the baby cucumbers! Growing so FAST!

Baby cucumbers

Gotta have my Gnome out! 🙂

In this photo you can see the baby lettuce as they try to poke their little heads above the surface

I’ll keep you guys updated as the season progresses. I personally cannot wait to eat my fresh cucumbers as a snack and to use my tomatoes for fresh caprese.

Have a wonderful season my fellow gardeners.

Jake
