Summer Floral Centerpiece

For a recent baby shower that I hosted I experimented with a new type of floral centerpiece. I found this long low acrylic floral centerpiece on Amazon. I had seen similar centerpieces pop up on my Instagram feed and though it would be fun to try to summer flowers.

I used my garden flowers along with roses and eucalyptus from Trader Joes (my favorite store to buy cut flowers from!).

I started by filling the vessel with cool water and floral food. I then added the roses, followed by dahlias and zinnias. I finished with the filler flowers and poked in the eucalyptus. I found it worked best to cut the flower stems 3-4 inches and place 1-3 stems in each hole at angle. Once you start to fill the vessel you can prop flowers up on each other to get the full look.

I will be creating this centerpiece again as it was so fun! If traveling with this centerpiece, I would recommend adding water once on location as it is difficult to transport with water in place.

Best,

Rachel
