June Garden Update

My beginner vegetable garden has been growing for around a month ago. It looks great! My tomatoes, squash, sweet bell pepper, onions, leeks, herbs and lettuce are coming along well; I just planted some strawberries which hopefully also do well in my garden.

All has been going great with my gardening adventure, but I have been battling some fierce rabbits and ants. The rabbits have mainly been going for the zinnias planted on the outside of my vegetable garden. I have been trying various DIY rabbit repellants and they have been working great. For the ants I have been using diatomaceous earth. It has been also working well. I don’t want to use any chemicals around my vegetable garden, so I have been opting for natural options.
